We are spoilt for choice for farm shops and local produce in the New Forest. With specialties such as panage pork it's a foodies dream. I've picked my favorites that I like to visit and offer a great range. It's so important to shop local and experience everything the New Forest has to offer. Shopping seasonally means you get to enjoy the freshest and most delicious foods. These independent farm shops not only sell delicious produce but are great at giving advice on what's best how to cook it and what to pair with it, a service a supermarket can never offer. Visit one of my recommendations and you won't be disappointed.
tatchbury Manor farm Shop @tatchburymanorfarmbakery
Tatchbury is the closest farm shop to us it is under a mile away. They are famous for their award winning pork pies and this summer opened one of only eight wood fired bakeries in the U.K. I visit regularly and if you order one of our breakfast baskets some of the produce comes from here. it's worth a visit on a Friday or Saturday morning for a wide range of baked and fresh goods.
hockeys Farm Shop @Hockeysfarmshop
hockeys farm shop near Ringwood is a favourite. It has a cafe and animals to see. My daughters love to watch the aviary birds and say hello to the alpacas. There is plenty of local produce and a butchers. Not far from Rockford common why not visit after a walk for a cup tea and a slice of cake?

Longdown farm Shop is located within Longdown activity farm but you can still visit if not visiting the activity farm. They have a wide range of fresh produce with lots of local fruit, vegetables and meats from their own butcher.

All the produce is grown on the farm or locally and is all organic as is their butchers, They have a wide range of other local and British organic foods and household products, They also have an Organic bakery. The farmers butcher is a family run butchers at Swallowfields farm Bramshaw only a 10 minute drive from the farm. The pork and a majority of the beef come from the farm itself most of the heard grazes on the open forest. The lamb is from Bramshaw and the free range chicken from new Milton. low food miles local and delicious. Why not try one
