Explore the farm 

Farm Walks

There is 70 acres of farmland on our  farm including 5 fields and a woodland. 20 acre field is our most accessible field on the farm providing a lovely walk down to our deck and swing. The tree deck looks over 20 acre field with chairs for you sit in and observe the wildlife, sunrise or sunset. You may even be lucky to hear our resident owl. The woodland is accessible Spring and Summer and also has a picnic area. It is a magical place in April & May when the bluebells sweep through the woodland, an unmissable sight. 

We also have ducks and chickens providing you with fresh eggs daily.

Games Barn

The games room is available for all guests staying on the farm. 

It has table tennis, darts, board games, children's toys, colouring and a tourist information table.

The games room in open 9am-9pm. The barn is rustic and has lights for evening games but is not heated. 

The games barn is adjacent to the cottages and is open to all guests staying on the farm in all of our accommodation.

We also have a number of garden games and football goal for enjoying outside.

Explore the New Forest 

Paultons Park

Paultons Park is a five minute drive from the cottages or 15 minutes if you want to cycle. It has been voted the U.K's number one theme park for years running. The park hosts different themes with  Pepper Pig World, Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek, Little Africa and Tornado Springs.

 

The park is laid out amongst gardens and open spaces with a great splash park in the summer.

Walks & Cycling 

With over 100 'pay to park' car parks scattered across the area there are so many walks and cycle routes in The New Forest to keep you busy. Whether you want a short walk or a full day's hike we are always here to recommend walks and have cycle and walking maps for sale to make sure you don't get lost

If you fancy guided rides, New Forest cycling tours can offer guided rides in the new forest and even right down to the coast

Beaulieu Motor Museum 

From the very first cars to Formula 1 supercars, you will see a large selection of vehicles at Beaulieu Motor Museum.

With plenty to keep you entertained for the day. The museum is set within the history and beauty of Beaulieu's gardens and contains The World of Top Gear. They also have a new children's play area called 'Little Beaulieu' with slides and areas for children to explore. Make sure you check out their website to see if they are holding any special events and to book your tickets .

New Forest Activities 

New Forest Activities in Beaulieu is packed full of amazing outdoor activities such as kayaking, archery and a ropes course.

 

It's a perfect place to visit for families and groups. Kayaking down the Beaulieu River is a must do, you may even spot the elusive Beaulieu river seals. 

Horse Riding 

Whether you are newcomer to horse riding or have ridden lots of times before, there is probably a local stable suitable for you.

 

Most stables offer rides across the forest, so whatever your skill level, you can see the forest from a different perspective. You can find horse riding at Burly villas or Brockenhurst riding stables.

Food & Drink 

​There are lots of places to choose from when it comes to eating out.

We are spoilt for choice for country pubs serving great Sunday roasts or just for an afternoon drink.

We are also close to the coast so there are many seafood restaurant's and fish and chip shops nearby.

Maybe pay a visit to one of our great tea rooms for a traditional cream tea after your forest walk.

New Forest Bus Tour 

New forest bus tour is seasonal and runs in the summer holidays from July- September.

The bus can be picked up from Lyndhurst and you can hop on and off at each village in the New Forest.

 

This gives you the opportunity to see lots of the New Forest in one day and even better for the sunny days, as it is open top, giving you the best views. 

New Forest Water Park 

New Forest water park near Ringwood offers a selection of water based activities.

 

At New Forest water park you can try wakeboarding, the inflatable aqua park or even SUP.

 

This is a great place to experience the beautiful New Forest. And why not visit the Alice Lisle pub after for a delicious pub lunch?
